Aaah, so I gave up on and installed like a noob. I didn't have time to muck around with getting NixOS set up how I wanted 😬

Day 58: Been trying to install MySql and PHP on a linux machine, and that have not been easy. Har to make a reinstall of the whole system, now I only need to reinstall Ruby and I am up and running again. No coding today 🙁

Ocean surface simulation using 18.04 LTS on Acer laptop from 2007 with Intel Celeron 530 @ 1,73 GHz and Mobile 965 Graphics. There are still half of the CPU time left and it is still rendering at 60 FPS :)

Never expected this because it wasn't even a concept. I just saw a linux computer with the XFCE desktop in a movie. Ok, a porn movie is still a movie. ftw

I'm researching what would be a good default for the clock label in the and panel, as well as additional presets, so vote and comment with the custom format string you prefer.

If the screens were real screens rather than symbols, then it would likely be good, but one issue with that would be that the wallpaper changes each release and it would be a waste to constantly change it. Instead maybe the logo should be put on the screens.

I don't know about you kids, but I just downloaded 18.04 and will be upgrading tomorrow. If you run linux, this is the new one. It doesn't send any data to Windows or NSA, like other operating systems. It's not full of holes and doesn't require a lower case 'i'
