Am I the only one who has read their own book (more than once) since being published? Just curious. Comments welcome. RTs also welcome.

Hot take: Prologues are the Shetland ponies of writing...utterly useless things. If you don’t like “Chapter One,” go with “The book is starting now.”

I’m off on holiday on Saturday, and would love recommendations on books (kindle) to read while I’m away. (Shameless self promotion is wholly accepted 👌🏻). I like most genres so send me anything❤️

I’ve been told, as of late, that writers are stuffy ‘too serious’ types. Am I in the minority? I consider myself as goofy... and laidback. What do you consider yourself? Rt for me, and throw in a comment or two if you wish. Thanks !

Well here’s to having written 75k words on my first draft of my first attempt at a novel. I promised myself to finish this and now the end is in sight. Thanks for the encouragement

Hey how’d your day go? No writing for me today as I’ve been sick in bed all day. I’m feeling better now and hopefully it’s just a 24-hour bug.

one of my favorite short stories I’ve written and I’ve read it so many times I’m beginning to hate it. I think it’s about time I took the advice proffered by the post-it on my monitor: Done is better than perfect.
