I like online sales, but I love being able to sign a copy when someone stops by and grabs one in person.

I have read a lot of stories about “failed” writers who don’t finish books, go unpublished, sell 5 copies... To me even just finishing a book would be a success. I used to give up during chap 2. Now I give up by about Chap 6. That’s enough success for this year.

Tale of Two Kitties. Actually, same kitty. One is her being a pain when I’m trying to edit my novel, the other is when I’m ready to play but she’s asleep and doesn’t want to be disturbed.

Writing requires a good memory. Not just for the twists & turns of your plot, but for how experiences FELT. Injecting emotional truth into a novel is what gives it power.
