It’s IBD = Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The most common types are Crohn’s Disease & Ulcerative Colitis. I was diagnosed with UC in 2008. Sending much love to fellow sufferers and their families. Stay strong.💪🏼

Today is . Crohn’s/UC has been kicking my ass since 2011. I’m lucky to be in remission after several failed treatments, but not everyone is so fortunate. Being chronically ill SUCKS but I’m better off than many. If you know someone with IBD hug them close today!

Wrong! There is no diet, food, supplement, lifestyle or medication which will cure . People may experience periods of remission, where they have no symptoms. These periods can last for years, but they shouldn't be confused with being cured.

It’s today and I wanted to continue the conversation around body image in relation to chronic illness. to talk about Crohn’s and Colitis. We must continue to talk, due to stigma attached to Crohn’s and Colitis - so many people are suffering in silence.
