There's actually a word for the stacks of unread books I have piled up at home & may never find the time to read: "tsundoku". Glad to share it (unless you prefer Taleb's "antilibrary").

To celebrate I will be reading what has been my favourite book since I was a schoolboy, The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I will always hold a deep affection for this particular book as when I was being badly bullied at school it provided me with a form of escapism.

Tonight is , a celebration of books & reading. We have plenty of books - to read in the cafe, our 'Take, Leave or Swap' shelves & books on ceramics & local history in the shop. Bottle Ovens and the Final Firing by Terry & Pam Woolliscroft is a favourite!
