Really interesting program. As a twice-three times weekly fish eater im glad to see us talking about this, the supermarkets are passing off so much stock as irish when its not. Alas no fish mongers in many rural areas so its real tough

Potatoes are a favorite of mine for pre-workout real food. They’re more energy dense than other popular vegetables and provide the carbs, potassium and energy you need for long endurance events. Real Food. Real Performance.

My go-to pre/post ride food👍 Did you know that a skin-on potato has even more potassium than a banana? Crazy, right? Think about the potato differently – it's a complex carb that provides a lot of health benefits for the active athlete!

I’ve long used skin-on potatoes as a complex carb to fuel my body during hard training times and busy race periods. They’re not only naturally delicious, but they contain potassium and Vitamin C which are beneficial to athletic performance.

Potatoes & working out go together swimmingly! We love potatoes as fuel. With the skin on, they're a complex carb with more potassium than a medium-size banana. Perfect for aiding muscle, cardiovascular and nervous system function.
