Year 3 data collection is underway for the irrigation/soil salinity management study. Data will be used to develop mobile apps that take into account crop ET & required leaching coefficient to assist growers with irrigation decisions.

Bloody Red Shrimp, an invasive species, was recently reported in Superior Ore Docks Harbor. The shrimp can degrade habitat and complete with naive species for food. Managing this and other invasive species is an ongoing challenge in Minnesota.
