on the very first day, at the plenary session, reverberated with "Guru Tegh Bahadur ji ki Jai" and "Guru Gobind Singh ji ki Jai" in tribute to the Gurus who sacrificed their lives for us Hindus. They are our Gurus. Period.

Were you there, Ma'am? On what basis are you making this claim? Or you're just trying to defame ? FYI, other religious traditions, including Islam, did NOT figure prominently in . Correct your misperception & if you have some decency, apologize.

The event, in the end, was wrongly named. It was the World Hindutva Congress. Hindutva is not Hinduism, a distinction exemplified by many Hindus - including elected politicians in Chicago - protesting and condemning the event.

Two legacies of 9/11: carrying forward tolerance, pluralism, & cooperation of Swamiji's address in 1893 vs religious bigotry, hatred, and jihadi violence 2001 attacks which left some 3000 people dead. We have to choose between the two legacies.

"American Hindus or Hindutva?" When Hindu Americans enter the public square they are often ascribed with having a sinister agenda tied to Indian politics. It's time this gets called out as anti-Hindu & repudiated.

Radical left is bullying Hindus in US: Targeting the few Hindu Americans holding national office with a clear record of championing progressive causes is shamefully short-sighted & can only emasculate putative allies.
