Does anyone else think it’s kind of weird and uncomfortable that there’s so much pomp surrounding the last home game on since they were basically fired by Ricketts?

Without its very possible I wouldn’t be a fan, which I can’t imagine. Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.

It's a sad day that it's the last game on . Without wgn chicago I wouldn't be a cubs fan in Minnesota.

"The Cubs on WGN" is indelible. Just another thing for the Ricketts to fuck up concerning the team.

Cubs final game on . Not the best end to an era, but perhaps the most appropriate one.

We actually said goodbye to you a few years back when you took the games off of WGN America, so only Chicago could watch Cubs on . But I have wonderful childhood memories of Jack Brickhouse calling those Ernie Banks home runs. Sorry to see your reign come to an end. ❤️from CA

I hate seeing this. I used to get home from school and catch the end of Cubs games all the time. I was lucky enough to even catch some Harry Cary broadcasts when I was really young. And yeah, those games were broadcast in Louisiana.

Didn’t know this was happening. As a kid I watched the Cubs on WGN with Jack Brickhouse followed by the 10th Inning show and the Andy Starr Theater. Wouldn’t be a Cubs fan today without . Thanks!
