When you are trying to figure out the next number in your pattern of 4, 6, 8 & just need to build it. We figure out the growth pattern of 2 & we decided, “we are gonna need more tiles.”

Visual math for the win! My almost kindergartener figured out how many cookies we need to bake to make enough ice cream sandwiches for us and our neighbors. He drew 9 sandwiches and gave each sandwich two cookies!
