Fishguard played a part in top-secret operations during World War II. The Fishguard Bay Hotel was Station IXc of the Special Operations Executive, and formed a base for submersibles testing in Fishguard Bay.

Last Friday Year 3s were tasked with planning a VE Day tea party. They had to choose items from a price list and work out the total cost and make sure there was enough for their family. The children then had to make decorations and set up their tea party.
