A full day on Sunday. After & I met with RCMP in Smithers, we traveled with Wet'suwet'en hereditary Chief Na’Moks to a new camp at Km 27, before the main check-point.

Today Wet'suwet'en Fisheries Ranger Gary Michell drove Chief Na'Moks & I to the RCMP CISO at 30km checkpoint. After a visit we carried on toward the next camp but unfortunately the pick-up got stuck in deep snow.

The Crown is breaking its own law, as set out in the Delgamuukw decision which established Aboriginal title on Wet’suwet’en lands. The Hereditary Chiefs are the legitimate authority - they have the right to protect their territories.
