It just annoys me, as someone with a sibling with Down Syndrome and as a health/social care professional that the so called side were never there when we protested cuts against services. Never saw them call for to be ratified. They just people as props.

Where is the support for our kids in education settings? For carers? Respite services? Staff? We’re waiting ten years to ratify the UN Convention on the rights of persons with a disability . I do not accept that everything that can be done is being done. That’s absurd.
