Which brings us to India. The Movement is obsessed w/ India. That site explains why: Cuz activists advocating for minorities in India are the ones who started it. Tulsi isn't progressive enough for them cuz she doesn't condemn Modi & India's "fascist" ruling regime.

… but progressive enough, for whom? The arguments given on the new website trackingtulsi[dot]com/not-a-progressive are telling.

I met Tulsi Gabbard during her visits to the Afghan Embassy. She is dangerous. She apologized for Bashar Assad, is a war hawk, and has a history of fighting against LGBTQIA rights. Who would vote for her?

Aloha. You're 3yrs older than me and I grew up in a socially conservative Hindu home & I'm not a homophobe. In 2015, you said your personal views hadn't changed. It's not time/culture, so I'll stick with Ms. Angelou "When people tell you who they are, believe them."

She's also spent the past several years promoting the interests of dictators who are butchering innocent people all over the world.

And us! Warmongers don't get to run as progressives. Please check out for why running Dem hawks/Hindu Fascists/Homophobic/Islamophobic/Assad worshipers isn't gonna be what takes down fascism in the US.

Karma. All those running a campaign against a certain politician in Canada are now wincing that is trending and she is being questioned for her ties to saffron nationalists 😂 Jab khud pe aati hai toh sabko pata chalta hai. Sab ka time aata hai 😉

When I worked in a congressional office, I saw firsthand how groups like the HAF (supported by Tulsi Gabbard) bullied their way into silencing people who spoke up about human rights violations against the Indian government.

It's crystal clear that Gabbard has a long record of anti-LGBTQ and Islamophobic politics. She claims to have changed, but only publicly apologized for her anti-LGBTQ past AFTER announcing her plans to run for president. Does that seem sincere? NO

Since 2016, the movement has worked hard to weigh and measure Tulsi's progressivism and has found her wanting. Their arguments, however, fail to actually address whether she is progressive. Rather, they have judged her as not progressive enough.

I'm sorry, but as happy I am that a third woman has announced her intentions to run in #2020, I just can't support . I agree with a lot of her views, but I can't get past her anti-LGBT history. Hopefully you'll be able to be my friend despite this.

All y'all "progressive" Hindus out there, if you can't call out Tulsi Gabbard for being a Hindu fundamentalist who participates in the erasure of South Asian religious minority communities then you also gotta go.

Progressives need to have a more visionary policy for stopping US imperialism. Oppressed people do not want support for their despots they want democracy. You can be a war hawk and still be seen as pro peace.

This montage from tells you how little respect she has for the US government and our rule of law. She’s violating the law and US military code by campaigning with pics of herself in uniform. ⁩ ⁦⁩ ⁦⁦
