The medieval St Edward's Parish church in Stow-on-the-Wold is flanked by two spectacular yew trees. Rumour has it, this is the door that inspired J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Doors of Durin' that formed the west gate leading to the land of Moria in Middle Earth.

Try reading one of the other 12 volumes of Tolkien. 😁 I'm on Morgoth's Ring and The War of the Jewels. I also enjoyed The Treason of Isengard. I'm fond of The End of the Third Age myself.
