Regardless of the podium mix-up, could you really ask for a more exciting one-week stage race than this ? Despite two time trials and several steep walls, it all came down to one single second on the final day. Brilliant entertainment!

Two in the TT top 4 with posting the second fastest time + fourth quickest. We're loving how these two have upped their TT game this season, along with the team as a whole! And that's a wrap on this block of Italian 🇮🇹 racing.

Another strong performance by in . Best time at the split but then faded in the final headwind part. However, after his performance in the weekend and now this, it seems safe to say that he's ready to rock the Classics again this year. Look out!

Wow! Adam Yates (Mitchelton-Scott-Scott) loses overall title to Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) by just ONE SECOND in final-stage 10km TT. Roglic took back 2.6sec/km over 10km. Victor Campenaerts (Lotto-Soudal) wins stage by 3sec ahead of Alberto Bettiol (EF).

Three years ago Greg Van Avermaet beat Peter Sagan by 1 second at Tirreno-Adriatico, so Roglic didn't make history today.
