Seen some sand sims about. Had a go at making 1 from scratch. 64x64 led matrix & 5hrs later I got a pretty convincing sim going! 1500 grains that are slippery squares with resistance, momentum transfer on collision & blocking shapes. More + source code soon.

by running with a data logger shield, DHT11 Shield and OLED shield. All shields are for the ESP8266 D1 Mini. All without mods except for the DHT11 which uses pin D4/16(ESP32). A0, D3, D4, TX and RX are the only pins not mapped to the TinyPICO

Yay! I’ve got my s! Wow isn’t it Tiny, videos and pics really don’t do it justice. Time to teach myself micropython on it, blinks, flashes, beeps and boops a plenty on my next day off and 🤞🏻 no magic smoke!

Playing around with the 's stuff I got yesterday. The IPS Display shield looks really good. Using the TFT_eSPI library - I might be doing something wrong, but I REALLY hate it when you have to edit files inside the library to get it to work.
