We DO NOT NEED a RC into age care. It’s a con. We have already got reports costing millions. Just implement those recommendations! Reverse funding cuts. This Morrison’s RC moment is pure political opportunism

I'm sorry, Ken Wyatt deserves nothing but derision. He dismissed Shorten's statement of fact that the sector was in crisis. many months ago, as scare-mongering and verging on abuse. He has been asleep at the wheel whilst this has been occurring.

If there's a Federal ICAC it needs also to look at the "soft corruption" of eg a bureaucrat or minister who fosters a decision favorable to some powerful vested interest or foreign entitty, then leaves public service & goes immediately to work for that operation.

Very frustrating discussion on about mindless ABC Life thinkpieces "for the young people" vs and hard-hitting investigative work for the old, traditional listeners. False dichotomy. Young people want the quality stuff and they want it online. Not complicated.

I love the way NewsCorp employees think we're completely stupid. Blind Freddy could see that Murdoch has been influencing politics in Australia via his compliant Editors for years. The dumping of Turnbull being the latest example when destabilising Shorten failed

A magistrate made the justification of the rough handling of an elderly woman, akin to dealing with a difficult child saying ‘If that child is compliant, then some force is needed’. Graeme Innes is blind, and says if he'd been compliant he'd still be weaving baskets.

Whatever you think of and her tenure as ABC head; (and I'm definitely no fan), it's telling and uber-scary that the knew about her sacking before staff did.
