"Twilight" - The mix we intended for "Blue For You (Vol. 1)" Including Jo Griggs' backing vocals that were left off w/mine only on the final. I love Jo's work and this is the closest mix I could find that has her vocals included! Lovely!

There's an example of The Band influence on "Deal." That's a Jerry Garcia / Robert Hunter tune. I came up with that guitar riff and said "Let's approach it like a Band song like 'Ophelia,' kind of that feel, that groove."

Fun Fact: on on the song "Smoke Signal" use the word "video" in their lyrics. The word wasn't very common in the early 1970s, which makes the lyric quite unique.

Fun Fact: recorded their second Bob Dylan cover on with "When I Paint My Masterpiece", their first was "I Shall Be Released" on . Also, The Band released "Masterpiece" a few months before Dylan released it himself!
