In my 7 years of following, then covering Tesla, I’ve never seen Musk and Team protrude confidence like last night. This is an inflection point and the start of a new era

just said on call he's working 120 hour weeks... Name another billionaire or CEO who works 17 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After listening to (conference call) and quickly reviewing their numbers - will review in detail later tonight-I find it awfully hard to believe they found so many ways to cut cost in one quarter. They are setting themselves up bc of the pressure and scrutinization.

Elon Musk was all smiles as he launched a car into space yesterday. But today the harsh truth: the company is staring down the barrel of huge debt, and can’t meet its own deadlines.

Tesla loses $1.96 billion in 2017 as it struggles with Model 3 production problems. The EV maker hit new marks for Model S and X deliveries, but expenses for the year doubled compared with 2016.

If you're having power problems I feel bad for you son. He's got 999 million problems and shallow cash reserves with the threat of self-funding failure are all of them.

Preview of earnings. Truth will be stretched. Projections will be missed. Excuses will be made. No one will care. Stock will go up.
