Yep...put some steel on target from a K2 Black Panther. This young NCO was my overseer. Once I got in the gunners position he oriented me to the controls. He asked: “Have you ever been on an M1 Tank? The Gnrs control handles are the same.” Yes.. a few times...

I will always be inspired by the men and women serving in our army. When we say, “I’m going to need you to come in on Saturday” to pull a turret, they get the job done. Every time. Now to make sure they get comp time off.

If you’ve operated or maintained an M1 Abrams tank during the last 3 decades... I’d bet a paycheck that Mr. David L. Moore influenced how it ran...personally or through one of the hundreds of 91A AIT, BNCOC, etc. students and Soldiers through the years. RIP David.

A tank certainly is ONE way to destroy another - not sure it’s the best way 😉

How about a Tanks-giving Day thread? I was thinking about the things I am most thankful for and trying to incorporate that into something meaningful that I could share because, let's face it, changing Thanksgiving to Tanks-giving is kind of too perfect not to use it.
