As we choke in the smoke don't forget that the Scott Morrison government does not have a serious policy. Scott Morrison sent Angus Taylor to to sabotage action on climate change.

🔥 Someone saying that Australia has always had bushfires, so we should do nothing, is like saying humans have always had cancers, so why find a cure.

Loving the ! So why's it bringing ? Likely ash at the centre of raindrops (droplets need a microscopic particle of salt/ash/etc to form around). Possibly combined w/ extra smoke from smoldering fires (think pouring water on a fire that doesn't fully go out)

It’s raining heavily now in Sydney at last (we’re happy) but somehow the air still manages to be super smoky: this is so surreal and depressing! not over yet

Just as we got excited about the rain in Sydney the smoke is back from the fires. The air smells terrible and we can't see the city cbd anymore! Will this ever end!
