Majestic dusk thunderstorm yesterday over White Sands National Park after it dropped ping-pong ball hail in the dune fields. One of the most incredible scenes I have ever witnessed. Unforgettable!

After nearly getting blasted, I hid in the back of my truck as my cameras did the workโ€ฆluckily they were aimed correctly and a couple monsterous bolts hit just 1-2 miles west of me. Def one of my all-time fav lightning pics. Shot from the Willcox playa.
