Sitting in my backyard & reflecting on my life, I realize that I don’t have as much as some but I have all that I need. Even better, I can look at myself in the mirror every day & feel good about who I am. There’s a lot to be said for that.💫

I had a wonderful visit today with my grandma who is 95 years old. She told me to always be positive and enjoy life every day. It was really hard to say goodbye. I hadn’t seen her in a year. I hope I get to see her again soon!💗

I get told often to cut my hair because I’m 45 and too old for long hair in some people’s opinions. I ignore the comments though. I was never one to follow trends. I would rather stand alone and be ME. And when I’m 50 or 60 I will likely still have my long hair.

I’ve decided I’m going to write a book about my life because I discovered that my life is worth writing about. It won’t be a book I publish. It will be a book for me and my kids. Perhaps these are the books that bring the most personal reward. I hope to find out!

- The most loving and profound thing that you can do for yourself is to have quiet time, where you quiet your mind and count your blessings. Starting or ending the day with gratitude is the 🔑 to happiness.

Captain She was so busy loving her life that she had no time for hate, negativity, or bitterness. She only had time for things that made her smile & feel happy to be here. So every day she woke up as the captain of a ship only she could steer. M.K

If we want to make something great, we must begin with ourselves. The greatness of a nation lies in each and every person who rises up to their highest potential and realizes they have power. And they use this power to do good.

- I have regrets. I regret wasting an opportunity to make things better and/or not doing enough. All I can do is try to do better in the future if I leave something unfinished in the past.

I pledge to be kind. There is no place for hate in my mind. For being a good person feels great. And I know that it’s never too late to make a difference for one. And besides, saving starfish is so much fun! M. Korach

- Your true character is not defined when things are going your way. Instead your character is molded when things are messy and hard. It’s all about picking yourself up when things get tough and keep moving forward.

She went where there was no path & blazed her own trail. With courage & , Her ship set sail. Over the waters tumultuous & deep, She held on tight & took a leap. To the sun so golden She traveled alone. & the ripples began as she cast 1 stone MK
