A colleague told me that 2 of my students approached her at lunch & said: “Ms. K told us that she is counting on us to change the world. She’s old now & she doesn’t have as much time to change the world as we do because we’re kids. We’re going to make her proud.”

A great reminder for us all: “You’re never too important to be nice to people.” To me this means that whether it’s a caretaker or a CEO, we should treat everyone with an equal amount of respect & kindness.

is the greatest shift we need to see in society. It begins within ourselves & the walls of our own homes. Kindness should always be on your radar. Look for opportunities to try a little kindness, & always make time to be kind!

Haha well technically my life is about half over or half begun at 44. I prefer to think of it as half begun as I’m the glass half full kind of person. At least I try to be.

Someone ( a complete stranger) once approached me & said she could feel my spirit and my pain just by being in the same room as me. She asked me if I was ok and I said, “Yes l’m ok. The Universe makes sure of it.” I will never forget that.

That One Perhaps I can’t make a difference for many, But at least I can make a difference for some. For I know that some is better than none, And my matters to that ONE!! M.K

Thank you so much for supporting what I’m trying to do for kids. It’s much appreciated! I hope more people will see the value in what I’m trying to do & that they understand I don’t do it for any kind of recognition, only love. Love is all I care about promoting. ♥️

One of my greatest sources of inspiration for elevating myself has come from the influence of my late cousin Peter Zezel #25 & . Peter always made sure to elevate his WHOLE self, he made time for others, & he never forgot where he came from!

Thank you. I take great pride in learning alongside of my students. I see myself as less of a teacher and more of a facilitator of learning. ♥️

Smile even when u feel like you could cry. The simple act of moving your mouth into the smile position is scientifically proven to send happy signals to the brain that immediately give u a little boost & help u feel better. Honestly I’ve tried it & it works!

My life is far from perfect. In fact I’ve had to rebuild it twice. But with hope and a grateful heart, still I rise. I’ve learned that giving a little to others helps me live a rich life, no money required. It’s a pleasure to pass this message on.

My Gr. 1’s & I made a quilt to celebrate our 2018-2019 year together. Students shared some of the messages we learned throughout the year, & we wrote them on the quilt to reflect on what we learned & how we shared our learning with others! 🇨🇦
