I’m glad and Thankful to all my Sinhala Buddhist friends who protected me when mobs attacked my house. Dear Muslim friends Instead of blaming Sinhalese, blame government culprits on behalf of raping the country.

Sri Lankan Muslims need to defend themselves, other communities cannot do such things if Sri Lankan Muslims start defending. SL Muslims doesn't deserve such cruelty over some nitwits action. Who doesn't share the common belief of SL Muslims.

This is a piece I wrote last year about how Sri Lankans from all ethnicities & religions saved lives & prevented violence from escalating during the riots. Thought this might be a good time to repost the piece.

Surprised with low security on railway stations. No bag checks, unlike in many shops. Outside of the capital, along the coastal line, no army / police patrols. Anyone could board a train and carry virtually anything

Plz don’t apologize , mobs don’t have a religion just like how terrorism have no religion. You thought are caring and thank you for that . We hope that no one else faces this tragedy regardless of religion. We are glad at least none of our staff past away

Whom you target, whom you harm, is just someone like you, someone just trying to make a living, raise a family and be a normal person. If you don't think before you act, rest assured that it's what the terrorists wanted.

To those people who say ministers or opposition should have warned the public about the suicide bombs, are you seriously thinking that if public were warned that same warning wouldn't have been received by terrorists? Either think or shut up.

has all the markings of Geo-politic maneuvering. Not only in Sri Lanka, similar incidents have happened in Gwadar(Pak), Rakhine(Myanmar), etc. Nothing happens without reason & objective. Excellent analysis from that mainstream media wont write.
