My wife's cactus will only flower for 24hrs. We've got the cactus outside as we're still currently sorting out the house after the move. The Hoverflies are loving them!

We have had a juvenile blackbird following its dad (trying to ignore it) around the garden making loads of noise for a week. Not being fed. Usual? Having to keep cats at bay!

Went up to my old paddock to mow it yesterday to find noisy flock of about 100 Goldfinches feasting on the grass and flower seeds. Decided not to mow it until the autumn. Might have to make it a meadow.
