Yesterday was mainly about snowdrops, but meandering around the woods I was quite taken by the mosses and lichens (this on is a dog lichen I believe). Definitely so much more to discover in the woods, these images will feature in my exhibition in some format

Here in rural Somerset it has been a day of glorious silver-bright rain, like Pooh Bear's kind of rain where you turn your umbrella upside down for a boat. This is the Cary Valley in flood.

Clear skies & I'm ready to go hunt for wild snowdrops, I think it'll still be too early but a walk in the woods is much needed. These are from mid-Feb last year after the rain.
