2 cruisers at a collision on wb @ Bayshore today. Car barely missed an officer getting into his cruiser. Other officer pulled it over. 25 yr old from charged with fail to move over. Please . It's the law and it could save a life. ^bd

A reminder: You must for stopped Emergency Vehicles (which include: Police/Enforcement, Fire, Paramedics, Tow Trucks, Public Utility Emergency Vehicles). The maximum penalty for failing to do so is: 6 months imprisonment, $4000 fine, 2 year suspension.

A tragic reminder of why we ask (read IMPLORE) that drivers . If you see an emergency vehicle or a tow truck with its lights flashing stopped facing the same direction you are going, SLOW DOWN and PASS WITH CAUTION.

People just don’t respect tow trucks stopped with lights flashing like they do other emergency service vehicles. I see it daily. I think blue flashing lights out the back only may help? So many close calls and lives lost.
