Sorry for messing up the live video stream. Much enjoyed the Sherries nonetheless. Here are my Sherry notes 1/7

Live stream did work well, not enough bandwidth at home. You can see it here but it's not great! The sherries are fantastic though. A real revelation. Well done Ruben for this ever-increasing level of surprises and delights in the selection

This one is very hard to get my head around.. It opens doors in my head of old Frasqueira Madeira wines due the high accidity but the palet is extremely complex and very rich.. Damn, This is some hardcore stuff, I don't think I ever tasted something like this before..

Amontillado Añada 2001 pairs very well with stewed meats like veal chank, cheek. Also foie, cheeses or iberic ham

Really no substantial astringency, orange peel, tobacco, extreme complex

Reminds me of Christmas beside the fire years ago where one person was smoking, another eating Christmas cake, someone eating nuts, another drinking brandy and someone eating chocolate.

Such a fascinating line-up of sherry, and as a "sherry virgin" i'm impressed by the variety and what sherry has to offer. Go and go

The first time I really understand the term polished furniture for wine. It smells like it’s going to be a whisky but when you taste it it’s smooth and rounded and acidic. Would pair with classic amontillado pairings but is perfect on its own.
