It's still on the west coast of the U.S., so here's one of my all-time favorites: Sid Meier's Pirates! An easy-to-play, addictive as heck, open-world(ish) pirate game that's perfect for portable play. Buy it, play it, love it. YARHARHAR!

It's the worst day of the year - - and , so here's a truly bad game: Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22. SNES sprites on lifeless 3D backgrounds and a terrible fighter to boot. I gave my friend $1 for it and he felt guilty taking it.

Tekken 7 is my pick, a fantastic sequel that feels substantial and solid while remaining true to its roots. A must have for fans even if the character season passes are pretty poor. Mines still sealed as it came to Game Pass shortly after my pick up!

Happy gamers! A cold January morn back at work? Outrun's iconic blue skies is the perfect to tonic and this SMS port is utterly charming. It may be far from arcade perfect but it looks nice and plays very well!

The long-running Super Chinese series made it to the west under a number of names: Kung Fu Heroes, Super Ninja Boy, etc. But we never saw a release of Super Chinese Fighter, a one-on-one fighter in the same universe!
