17 years ago today, I lost my friend Deora. She was on Flight 93. This was a pic of us working at a Jamba Juice in La Jolla many years ago. To this day, I still can’t process what happened to her. All I know is that I miss her. A lot of people miss her.

I was only in 2nd grade but I still remember walking downstairs to see the news that morning. My family never had TV on in the mornings so I was really confused. The world has never been the same. Fear and hate have dominated our daily lives for 17 years. RIP

You know the best part about Canada stepping up on ? It wasn't that Canada took in 238 planes Or that they sheltered 35,000 strangers Or that they filled prescriptions for free Or that people literally left work to help It's that you know they'd do it again.

What's the first thing you'd expect Trump to do when talking about ? Here's Trump at a campaign rally in 2016, explaining how he helped clear rubble at ground zero on . Only he didn't. It's a total lie.

As the sun sets on , I still remember the anxiety I felt that day about our safety and the determination of the attackers to hit us. But since bin Laden was killed, I’ve been grateful for Bush/Obama and our military/intel community seeking justice.
