74 years after his death, WWII Tarawa Marine Veteran John W. MacDonald arrived home to Massachusetts. Joined by members of his surving family, he received Plane-Side Honors by Marines of 1st Bn, 25th Marine Regiment upon landing to Boston Logan Airport.
