All told, H-4 EAD is no threat to American workers, but it is a lifeline for immigrant families who are waiting in line, doing everything asked of them, for a chance to settle down in the US for good. They should be allowed to work and contribute while they wait.

I legally live here.but my legal work permit is about to be revoked due to change of laws. We bought a house based on me working, we moved to a good school district based on my job, we invested based on my job. If H4EAD goes away our life will be shutdown.

Studied here legally, married then and stayed here legally, built my career here legally, now if H4EAD is taken i would have to sell my house, leave my job that i love and self deport my family because it will take 150 yrs to get GC and itwont work with a single salary.

Immigration can take a LIFETIME for many highly-skilled workers, due to outdated laws and arbitrary caps. It only makes sense that they be allowed to work, pay taxes, provide for their families, and set their roots in America while they wait. We must and end

Grad doing Clinical research while legally waiting her turn on employment based Greencard - how threatening is that to someone opposing her skills?? She was forced out of workforce due to archaic immigration laws how does she compete with folks locally ?? In jobs?🤷🏾‍♂️

PhD in biomedical engineering is a fantastic achievement requiring years of dedication!! It’s a shame that the administration wants to revoke the H4 EAD so that people like you will be unable to use your skills
