IMPORTANT: Today is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day. Spinal cord injuries don't just stop people from walking they affect so much more. Anything from loss of bodily functions, loss of control of body temperature and breathing to vulnerable skin creating sores.

Patient Nigel Clarke, who's on MCSI at the moment, suffered his SCI 30 yrs ago after falling off a roof at work. On Spinal Cord Injuries Awareness Day, he says it's important to get the message out that having an SCI doesn't have to be a barrier to doing what you want.
