Binge-watched the remarkable "Sunderland 'Til I Die" on Netflix. Stars were the loyal fans, chef Joyce (who deserves her own show), the caring Chris Coleman, snowball-throwing Academy kids & The Lake Poets' lilting song Shipyards. Less impressive: Ellis Short & Jack Rodwell

Jack Ross has us 3rd,unbeaten at home, lost 2 games all season,4 points off top with a game in hand how are some fans saying he’s not the right man? Some ‘fans’ need to learn how to get behind the man and the team.

Cannot believe some of the shit I read on here. Criticism of Donald, Ross, Gooch, Cattermole etc. Get a grip & take a look at where we were in May. We were rudderless and heading to oblivion. Stabilisation would have been an amazing achievement and we’ve surpassed that IMO.

JR: “ made his contribution of scoring again on Saturday and that’s why we’d love to keep him at the club. I’ve not seen any signs that he’s been affected by everything that’s going on around him.”

This has been going on for a while but by shots on target, Sunderland look like a mid-table team. However, they have the best conversion rate at BOTH ends. This *might* not continue forever.

Given we don't play next weekend, we need to play a full strength team on Tuesday. Also think its a great chance to try a different system. Get Catts, James, Maguire and Gooch out the team. Love to see us give one of these a go!!

FT: 1-1 Maja bags his 16th of the season and quite possibly his last goal for the Club knowing our luck. We just haven’t been good enough of late and a draw is probably a fair result. Just one league win in five now. Worried?

JR: “I’m not going to pretend we’ve been really good when we haven’t. The reality is we're in a good position. We're closer to Portsmouth than what we were a couple of weeks ago. If we can return to the form we showed in the first part of the season it will be close.”
