The thread for is amazing. What kind of quilts, embroidery, or mixed media/fiber arts do you have stories about from your family? My paternal gma made many blankets & after my maternal gma passed my mom had an unfinished quilt finished. They are so important to me.

I knew I was going to stitch my journey and then I remembered that we never used the US map pattern from bc we replaced it with her map. I just transferred the pattern and will be stitch my journey with Rita’s map! Full circle. Rita keeps on giving. ❤️❤️❤️

Update! This is going to be a cross stitch wall hanging shaped like a heart with swirls and flowers inside it, and my niece’s name, Bodil Viola Linnea, and birth date, time, weight, etc. Thanks to the crew for inspiring me to pick this back up and finish it!
