Boris Johnson blocked a key witness from being interviewed in the bullying inquiry into Priti Patel. Former top civil servant Philip Rutnam was scathing about the Home Secretary but wasn't allowed to input into the process.

Wish that commentators like would put national debt into context. For much of last 300 yrs national debt much higher than GDP: 180% during the Great Depression; 240% at end WWII. Need to reduce it over decades, not reintroduce in short term.
