This Oklahoma heat is hard on all, including our horse relatives. Part of our project is offering the freedom to our horses to move around the ranch & stay cool. Their choice: shade, lots of water, & dust baths!

3/3: Also, here are what I think are two red Soldier Beetles happily mating on one of our thistles. Had to look them up on the internet too so if I'm wrong let me know. Do not recall seeing these before. My wild patch of garden is just full of life.
