I'm nominating Erik Neander as the frontrunner for Executive of the Year. The Rays' GM has made a series of smart moves, the biggest being turning a regressing Chris Archer into a package of talent including Austin Meadows and Tyler Glasnow.

Pham said he messed up and there’s nothing else to say. Said he was really frustrated with how he played today, but said he’ll “make up for it”

I fu*king hate Pham right now. He pulls too much of this bullshit. How many fu*king games is he going to lose for ? At this point, it's unacceptable. Sit your ass on the base and don't move.

Pham's being blunt, you can tell he's more mad at himself than we are "I messed up, that's it"... forgive him, in a week or so when the have reeled off a few wins in a row you'll forget about these, mister! Long season!

The three triples hit today tie a franchise record. It's been done five other times and the last time was 6/16/17 against Detroit.

Full Tommy Pham quote addressing final play: "All I’m going to say is I fucked up and that’s it. I have nothing else to say. I messed up. You’ve got to learn from your mistakes. That’s how life is and the game of baseball. Just learn from it and don’t let it happen again."

This is why I was bitching soo much when bullpen couldn't close out games and had to use Castillo & Alvarado in games they shouldn't had too. Result? Both guys with dead arms in games when they are needed. Need another arm in this pen.

need a fresh arm to cover innings if necessary so with Sadler pitching last night makes sense to make another move, and Faria is now on full rest

Brian Anderson just said something that clicked for me. The pitcher's counter to the launch angle movement is the curveball. Coincidentally that's been the pitch have especially focused on adding (Morton, Glasnow, etc).
