The old railway station at was opened in 1885. After closing in 1935, the track fell derelict but we may see new life at the station once again under the Project!🚂🛤️😍💯😎 📸:

One of my personal pictures taken back in the day .... 37 223 powers south along the Erewash Valley Line with a short MGR working on 22-03-89. The GNR Bennerly Viaduct dominates the background along with the Bennerley Coal Processing Plant.

One of my personal pictures taken back in the day. 45 110 at Sheet Stores Junction on 10-05-87 working the Sundays only 12.15 Derby-St Pancras. This was the last time this train was booked to be peak hauled and had a headboard fitted reading Class 45’s Farewell
