I've posted this before, and I think it's important to post it again today on - Some people won't want to talk about not being ok. That's ok, your presence can be healing. And it's always ok to ask again later, and again. Just let them know you're there.

No I’m not ok. I’m fucking mad at Aunty death in custody, im furious that we are still fighting to , I’m angry at Government’s deranged obsession w destroying trees. No Aboriginal person living in this colony is “ok.”

I have an interview coming out today that caught me a bit offgaurd in my emotional response concerning mental health. I want to use the moment to direct people to resources, who specifically provide support for young people. They're wonderful!

Always check in on your mates and see how they are. Sometimes it’s the ones who appear the strongest and happiest on the outside that are going through the toughest times ❤️

I’m a day late but Mental Health should be important everyday! If you’re feeling down I hope this will cheer you up even if it’s just a little smile or if you expelled a little air from your nose. Everyone has their struggles and no one is in this alone! ❤️

I have so many days where I haven’t been. I still do. I’m proud to be comfortable saying I suffer anxiety and stress and just that empty feeling at times where you wish you could explain why you feel it, but you can’t. Just ask. R U OK? It may change a life.

Today is R U OK Day. I joined colleagues today to support MATES in Construction, who do great work around suicide prevention in their industry. A conversation could save a life, it's ok to ask R U OK?

If you notice a change in your friend's behaviour, trust your gut & ask R U OK? Those in our community who are most at risk of self-harm often feel disconnected to others. A lack of belonging is something we can all change by reaching out, being there & listening.

I’ve been living with a mental illness for over 18yrs & I only told my closest friend of 10yrs about 3yrs ago. So yeah, I think is massively important. I don’t want people to ask me how I am but I do want people to be ok when I tell them I’m going through something.
