Kodiak 50mile - 2nd Male OA (3 OA) It’s amazing what physical pain you can overcome with the mind. Last 20mi were me vs pain receptors and being willing to commit to finishing as best as I could

Well friends I would appreciate your prayers. My doctor is suspecting ligament damage in my right knee and told me it would be unwise to race next Saturday. I'm going to see an orthopedic doctor Monday to see what's up but I'm feeling pretty frustrated and deflated

The week was brutal with the 🔥🥵 with morning temps starting at 80+° most mornings. I had to push through a couple of runs but managed to get it done. 🦁 🐰 My training last week: 5 workouts for 77 miles and 5942 calories burned.

tonight will be a few easy miles then strides on the track since it’ll be high 99 not counting humidity. Around a 5K in total distance.

Cheesehead 5K - 20:14 Overall place: 8/670 Gender place: 3/417 AG place: 1/37 Great race today despite not being in top top racing shape! Best part? Having friends & family there, both things my dad loved about this race. 😇

A rare evening run tonight to keep the run “streak” alive at 24 days. Still unsure how long I’ll keep it going but enjoying it and the extra motivation it’s bringing me for now. 👍🏻🏃

A great . . . another great strength training session . . . 60 minutes and I’m feeling the full body workout but it’s a great burn!

Supposed to take 4 weeks off...I’m at 3.5 wks and I felt really good. I have no patience. I do plan to continue swapping some over the next few weeks for the bike as I build up my running mileage. Feeling hopeful about my fall marathon goals though.
