A big reason I supported I support decriminalizing sex work and I won’t be apologetic or compromise my position on this matter.

So I guess Katz has built a bigger lead than 16 votes. But it cant go without saying the article mentions took away many votes from the candidates. I hope to see many strong 3 candidate races in the future in queens!

Would even want this criminal arrested? Certainly no bail required. And we want to make sure he has comfortable summer clothes to wear in jail.

These 165 attorneys aren’t volunteers, they’re job applicants.

The attacker screamed things like, “this is my neighborhood,” during the incident. Priest was also dressed in traditional and religious clothing at the time of the attack. All eyes on and to seriously prosecute this matter and deliver justice

how was the ballot even given to a voter at an incorrect polling site? how would that person’s name even be in the books if they are at the “wrong” site? and yes: an eligible voter should not be denied their cast ballot

So seemed to shut the door on any chance of signing Bill A1320 (which would make it harder to throw out affidavit ballots) in time to impact the race on this morning.

It seems the package thieves are out in our area full force post . We're lucky Crazy Caban isn't , otherwise if/when caught, these kleptos would probably get sentenced to time in a ball pit.

Even on the Absentee ballots, spilt the vote. Goes to show you the effect of a strong third candidate in any political race.

Wow... What an unprincipled slam. District office has been open a long time; AOC is beloved in Western Queens. See vote totals for W. Queens in recent race.

Story out today: in NYC, the primary for has drawn a lot of attention to the progressive wave electing prosecutors to office—so I went to Staten Island, where incumbent DA Michael McMahon is running unopposed w/ a very different tone & record.

But right now we’re in the middle of the count for , and changing rules in the middle may throw it into chaos. If the bill were to be signed, it would look bad, as if the Governor were changing the rules in the middle of the game. That doesn’t only look bad, it is bad.

The courts have always been asked to rule on whether or not a ballot with envelope “issues” is opened or not. The judge in the matter will be hearing the same arguments and making the same analysis whether or not this bill is signed.

That litigation is probably going to happen anyway. The parties in the race are already in court, and one of the issues is deciding which envelopes are substantially compliant and should be opened. There is existing case law that I believe applies to this situation.
