These are not normal times. The amount of negative-yielding bonds in the global market is north of $13 trillion. ECB and BOJ are charging banks for keeping deposits. FED is almost there. Real yields are virtually negative.

Agree - ebitda becomes less meaningful, docs more permissive. Either standardise EBITDA use cashflow based metrics. Issue there is CFs are more volatile, (too?) restrictive. Would normally say a massive sell off would see standards tighten. has put lid on that
