Everyone should admire for his rectitude. Nevertheless, when dealing with bullies, which is what Washington & are, there is a downside to Putin’s policy of turning the other cheek. Acceptance of provocations leads to more provocations.

The reason I think needs to do a better job of standing up to Washington is that I think, based on history, that appeasement encourages more provocations, and it comes to a point when you have to surrender or fight.
