Tyres do degrade and perish. Especially if old or not used regularly. Crack and splits can increase the chances of a blow out and a collision. This is especially common on caravans and trailers that are rarely used. Always check your tyres.

Motorbike tyres have a tiny contact area in comparison to cars. All the more reason to ensure they have good tread depth and the correct pressures all the time. Ride like a pro as our Polish Policja colleagues do here.

157kph on a road restricted to 50kph. What is it that makes drivers speed? Impatience, late, the thrill of it? Lives are recklessly put at risk when we do. Always better to arrive late than not at all.

An interesting fact related to tyres. Your tyres do not keep solid contact with the road if the suspension is bouncing too much.

How often do you check your tyres? Regularly, or, if it wasn’t for the fact you drive your car, would they look like this? You cannot afford to neglect your tyres.
