Just did a interview on the history of the King Edward Hotel in , built in 1904 & destroyed by fire on Feb. 15. My thanks to Farley Wuth, curator of Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village, who briefed me & supplied these photos.

We were here in in the 1800s. Our numbers were few but we were here. Annie Saunders was a nanny for Colonel James Macleod (yeah that Macleod) & so we know a little bit about her. She later owned a restaurant, laundry & boarding house.
