1920s South Bay with entertaining on the beach. By this time the shows were becoming more and more professional. Some moved their performances indoors turning into concert parties, the forerunners of the variety shows of the 60s and 70s.

In troupes appeared at concert parties. The part-obscured name of this troupe may be the Berserkers? & we have 2 sailors Sub Lt Morley & Ord Seaman Holloway, who are in the group shot too. Any info on the or the 2 men? 🎪🤡

So much love for these two grandees Penny and Tacko. I've had the most fantastic time entertaining the crowds at @RTTC2018 as the New Follies. More photos to follow with the full troupe!
