We recently celebrated Pi day on 14th March (3.14) with competitions, activities and a huge recreation of the symbol Pi. The winner of our main competition memorised Pi up to 31 digits!

Happy belated for the one and only, Ms. Pi. I worked her into this quick fake Mega Drive label/ad with Maria for funsies. Have a good weekend and thank you to those who reminded me of Pi day. Next year I'll catch it on time...

Dr. Hamstra and the Chemistry Department celebrated appropriately—with pie. After all, it’s the only *rational* part about this day. 🥧

Congratulations to Lewis Gowen who is our Pi Recital Champion again this year! Reciting 314 digits of Pi means he has surpassed Faith’s Wallace High record of 270! A special mention to Rowan Murdoch who memorised 240 decimal places! Huge well done to both pupils!
