Brought my sick 7yr old kiddo to the university today. All my core classes occur on T & didn't feel good about missing - thankfully the faculty were all really kind & said she could attend. She was a rockstar & hung out like a champ

Started my phd journey in July 2019 and I'm already dealing with feelings of uncertainty/doubt. How do phd students, especially women with young children, keep themselves motivated?

Mamas will get this milestone: stopped breastfeeding a year ago, but just bought new bras! Dissertating might just be less painful than bra shopping ha! Some ?s: 1) have bras always been so expensive? 2) do they all suck? 3) are any as comfy as nursing bras?

First conference since baby and it’s definitely challenging, even with a supportive spouse who traveled along to provide childcare. Any tips? Good thing she’s cute!
